Challenge

Innilabs wanted to validate a task-based verification marketplace — buyers post on-site jobs like queue holds, photo evidence, and store visits, and nearby runners accept and complete them for an escrowed reward — before committing to a production build. The prototype needed to prove out the full trust loop end to end: eligibility checks, AI-assisted evidence review, buyer confirmation, disputes, and payout, not just static screens.

Process

Explored five distinct visual directions — from a vibrant countdown-driven marketplace to a translated NFT-dashboard layout and a clean analytics-style dashboard — before landing on "Ambient Wallet": a dark icon-rail sidebar, indigo primary accent, and a lime action color reserved for money-moving CTAs, then rolled it out across every screen. Built the full flow in Next.js App Router with TypeScript and a mock REST API behind Route Handlers, covering deal discovery through creation, acceptance, on-site checklist and evidence submission, AI PASS/HOLD/BLOCKED outcomes, buyer confirmation and disputes, wallet settlement, and a moderator review queue. Iterated further into a unified single-account model where one person can act as both buyer and runner, plus a pass hardening the seed data for internal consistency.

Outcome

A responsive, production-style demo (desktop and mobile) covering the entire transaction lifecycle for buyer, runner, and moderator roles, with a simulated wallet ledger and an English/Indonesian/Korean localization structure — verified with passing typecheck, lint, unit, and Playwright E2E suites and zero npm audit vulnerabilities.

Final Design

The shipped "Ambient Wallet" direction across the core buyer, runner, and moderator flows — dark icon-rail sidebar, indigo primary accent, and a lime action color reserved for money-moving CTAs.
